WHAT IS A BOOK COACH?

A book coach helps you get your book from idea to published. I work with you every step of the way and offer support, editorial feedback, brainstorming, project management and general awareness throughout the process of writing. If you have a book idea and are unsure of how to turn it into a published book, I am here to help make it easier.

I lead you through your writing and make sure to keep you on schedule and produce the best writing you can.

The result of book coaching? You will learn how to write a book that will be geared toward your ideal readers, all without spending unnecessary time putting your efforts where they might not pay off or be helpful to your book.

WAYS I CAN HELP:

1. Brainstorming: We spend time figuring out your novel before you start to write. I teach you how to outline and structure your story in order to have the most success during the drafting process. From here, I work with you to make sure the outline meets reader expectations and that we are working with an idea that will prove to be fruitful in the market.
2. Accountability: I set weekly deadlines based on what is needed for your novel to succeed. We work to create a regular writing practice that works with your schedule so you can continue to implement what you learn during our sessions, even after we are done working together. I set you up for success in your future writing endeavors!
3. Editorial Guidance: Every week, we meet so I can give you my feedback on what you have written. The feedback I provide will help strengthen your novel and provide actionable advice that you can implement as you write the next portion of the story. The purpose of ongoing editorial guidance is to save you time writing a novel that will need profound edits when completed.
4. Author Support: I help you develop your author voice and persona to make sure that when you have published your book, your voice stands out and is relevant to the market. We work on branding development for you to communicate with your designer or website developer.
5. Publishing Help: For those who would like to self-publish, I offer my extensive knowledge as an author with over 15 published novels to guide you through the process. From finding a cover designer to choosing publishing platforms, all the way to your book launch; I am there to help you succeed! As an award-winning, self-published author, I know what it takes to bring your book out into the world.
6. Tailored Packages: Whether you need unlimited contact or a monthly accountability meeting, there are several packages available to make my services fit your specific needs.

ADVANCED- $699 per month

THE 6 MONTH NOVEL- $3999

• Week 1 & 2: Story outline and novel foundation work
• Week 3 through 26: Drafting process. Up to 40 pages per month divided into bo-weekly deadlines.
• Direct in manuscript feedback on pages submitted bi-weekly
• 30 minute weekly call via zoom to discuss feedback after each submission
• A recording of each call for your records
• Ongoing email support
• Ongoing morale support and writing encouragement(This package is right for you if you are on a deadline to finish a manuscript. This program is very writing intensive and will depend on developmental editing throughout the writing process. )
