With a developmental edit, I review your manuscript as a whole and on a chapter level. The purpose of the edit is to analyze the plot and character development in full detail. You will receive an editorial letter with an in depth-analysis of your manuscript as well as a focused breakdown of each chapter.

Less intensive than a developmental edit, a manuscript evaluation focuses on the big picture of your book. It addresses plot, character development, story beats, writing style, and more. Your evaluation will include an editorial letter and in-line comments and notes within the manuscript. While a developmental edit includes two full passes, a manuscript critique is only one pass and does not breakdown critiques by chapter.

This is a good option for those whose manuscript is complete and has gone through alpha readers.
